The mission of the association is to support the profession of nursing through education and professional development, research, and community engagement; and to record and maintain the history of nursing at MGH and the impact of its School of Nursing graduates. Continuing the legacy of the MGH School of Nursing (1873 - 1981), the Association has over 500 members including graduates of the original MGH School of Nursing as well as graduates of the MGH Institute of Health Professions School of Nursing. The book was compiled and edited by Adele L. Corkum ‘34 and Miriam J. Huggard ‘31 and contains magnificent illustrations by Eleanor D. Pitman ‘25. Included is a “New Hampshire Indian Pudding” recipe from Ruth Sleeper ‘22, three different version of “baked beans,” and 140 pages of many other “delicious and tried and true recipes.” Click here to view the entire cookbook. |
